Psychology, made useful

Simple ideas, useful knowledge, and a different way to look at the things we do, feel and repeat.

Clear Mind Club takes interesting ideas from psychology and brings them into ordinary life. We write about the things everyone does — the argument that was never really about the dishes, the habit that survives every Monday plan, the decision you keep not making — and look at what is actually going on underneath.

No lectures, no terminology to learn first, no background needed. Just something worth reading, thinking about — and maybe seeing a little differently.

Two kinds of reading

The Notes are free. Short pieces that start with an ordinary scene and follow it somewhere unexpected — no account, no email, no paywall.

The Guides are paid. They are longer and built to be used: one idea per page, something to try with each, and the research printed at the back. If a note is thinking out loud, a guide is the same voice with more room and a plan.

How a guide is made

We start with a question that comes up often — why criticism sticks longer than praise, why knowing a habit is bad does not break it, what a boundary actually is. Then we read the research, discard anything that only works in a lab, and keep what survives contact with a normal week.

Every claim traces back to a published study or a public health source, and the references are printed at the back of each guide with authors and years, so you can check them yourself rather than take our word for it. Where the evidence is mixed, the guide says so. We would rather be accurate than sound certain.

One small note

Clear Mind Club is made for learning and reflection. It can offer ideas and new ways of seeing, but it is not therapy or medical advice — and if something in your life feels bigger than a book, a good professional can do what no PDF can.

The library grows

New guides are added over time — attention, habits, communication, boundaries, stress — each made the same way, to the same standard. If there is a guide you would like to see, write to hello@readclearmind.com. The library is shaped by what readers ask for.
